OVERVIEW

Sawubona Lab 46208 is an arts-based, community embedded, resilience building program for teenagers. The goal of this camp is to help participants develop their self-identity through telling the story of who they are and building a sense of belonging to their community.

my role

My role in this project was as a research assistant and student mentor for the youth camp.

My primary responsibilities were helping with curriculum manual design and with facilitation and data collection during the camp sessions.

Because 2017 was the pilot year for Sawubona Lab 46208 I was given the opportunity to aid Professor Hong in the development of the camp curriculum.
